Cooperative Care Workshop

No need to force it

Are vet visits stressful for your dog (and therefore you)? Are you worried about your dog causing damage to a member of a veterinary team? Has a groomer or vet had to muzzle your dog or physically restrain them in order to carry out a procedure? Is the thought of a vet or grooming appointment enough to fill you with fear (not just because of the bills!)?

Studies have shown that dogs who are easily examined and groomed are more likely to be diagnosed with health issues faster. This results in more effective treatment, which can often be more cost effective in the long run (as you catch things early so require fewer emergency consultations and there’s less of a likelihood of needing chemical restraint and therefore less to pay for). This workshop is developed by someone who has studied this at a Masters and soon to be Doctorate level.
