So many of the issues that clients come to us with could be addressed if clients had been more considerate about the breed they chose to buy and the breeder whom they bought from. We’ve fallen into the same traps most clients do ourselves so this is a completely judgement-free service designed to help offer impartial, unemotional advice about the breed(s) best suited to your lifestyle.
This service takes the form of an hour’s discussion on the phone or via Zoom/Skype about what you and your family would most like from a canine addition to your family, what your lifestyle is currently like (and any potential changes to this lifestyle over the next ten years). From this you’ll receive a prioritised list of breeds that could feasibly be recommended for your living situation that takes your preferences into consideration.
You can also take this further and receive a list of recommended breeders to get a puppy from so that you can ensure you don’t fall into the trap of buying from a puppy farm and accidentally support unethical breeding practices. This service will set you up perfectly to have a wonderful life with a puppy who will have the the highest likelihood of being mentally and physically resilient.

This service is all about selecting the ideal puppy for you from a litter or rescue centre. We’ll work with the people who know the litter best – their carers and provide a prioritised list of the available puppies to help you pick the dog who will fit into your lifestyle best. Picking a puppy from a litter is such an emotional process and it can be so easy to take home the wrong dog because of a superficial reason such as their markings or behaviour when you visit a litter. Having a third party present to ensure that you’re making a logical rather than an emotional decision can help prevent you from making a wholly emotional choice which you may regret later on when the puppy doesn’t fit into your lifestyle as you hoped they would.

There is a lot that can be done before a puppy comes home. Especially if you have a busy household and pre-existing pets that you would like to help adjust to the imminent new arrival. If you’re particularly concerned about toilet training, protecting your furniture and house from a teething puppy, socialising your puppy, teaching your new puppy to sleep through the night and to be left home alone then this session will be invaluable.
